Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Taichung – Kaohsiung (Meals on the plane, Dinner)

Evening: The tour leader meets guests at Tan Son Nhat Airport for check-in procedures to board the flight to Taiwan. Upon arrival at Taichung Airport, the bus and local guide will pick up the group and take them to Kaohsiung.

  • Afterward, the group visits the Kaohsiung Pop Music Center – Love River Bay in Kaohsiung. Located in the center of the New Bay Area in Kaohsiung, Asia, it was built by a Spanish construction team in collaboration with a Taiwanese team to create an international cultural and music landmark with marine elements, becoming the hub for pop music performances in southern Taiwan.

The group returns to the hotel to check in and rest. Alternatively, guests can explore Kaohsiung city at night.

Day 2: Kaohsiung – Taichung (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Morning: After breakfast, guests check out and depart for Taichung. The group visits:

  • Fo Guang Shan Monastery – Known as the “Buddhist Capital of Southern Taiwan,” this famous Buddhist sanctuary is renowned for its grand architecture. Here, guests can admire the 120-meter-high golden Amitabha Buddha statue, surrounded by 480 standing Buddha statues. In the Fo Guang Mountain area, there are vast halls, art galleries, libraries, and large meditation halls. The people of Taiwan say there is no better place to learn about Buddhism than here.
    Afterward, the group stops to enjoy Oolong tea.
  • Lukang Township – The name Lukang means “Deer Harbor.” This town is removed from the hustle and bustle of modern life, preserving traditional houses, streets, and cuisine. It features some of the oldest and most magnificent temples in Taiwan, winding alleys with red brick paving, historical sites, and long-established shops where artisans create beautiful handmade products. The town’s houses have intricately carved doors and windows, complex vaulted roofs, thin brick walls, and green-painted mailboxes hanging outside. All these elements make Lukang a unique town and an attractive destination for modern Taiwanese people seeking to reconnect with their past.

Afternoon: After lunch, the group continues to visit:

  • Taichung Opera House – Built with a row of glass walls featuring an hourglass-shaped front, covered with glass panels arranged in a net pattern to allow visitors to enjoy a panoramic view from all levels of the theater. The most special feature of this building is that it is formed by curved walls covered with sprayed concrete, creating an open space that is elegant and luxurious. With its modern and unique design, the opera house has become an unmissable destination for art and architecture lovers (photography outside).

Evening: Guests have dinner, and the group returns to the hotel in Taichung to check in and rest.

Day 3: Taichung – Nantou – Taipei (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Morning: After breakfast, guests check out and depart for Taipei. The group visits:

  • Rainbow Village – A village covered with vibrant colors and fun illustrations from the walls to the floor. Located in central Taiwan, Rainbow Village has become a famous tourist destination, attracting over 2 million visitors each year. The cheerful and famous drawings have been widely shared on social media platforms such as Instagram and have become a popular check-in spot for young people.
  • Sun Moon Lake – Located in Yuchi Township, Nantou County in central Taiwan, Sun Moon Lake is the largest natural lake in this region, covering an area of 7.73 km², situated at an elevation of 748 meters above sea level, with the deepest part being 27 meters. The area features a picturesque blend of water and mountains, with glimpses of traditional Chinese architecture, creating a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere that soothes the soul. Surrounded by mountains, Sun Moon Lake offers a majestic and dreamy view, and was once the favorite vacation spot of Chiang Kai-shek.
  • The group enjoys lunch at a local restaurant, then continues to visit and taste tea at the Lingzhi Mushroom Specialty Shop in the mountainous area of Nantou.
  • Wenwu Temple – Divided into two main areas: Wenwu Temple and Wushu Temple. Wenwu Temple is dedicated to Confucius and his two disciples, Mencius and Xunzi. Wushu Temple is dedicated to Guan Gong and the patriotic general Yue Fei. Inside the temple, there is also a shrine for Yue Lao, the god of love, who is believed to control human relationships. He holds a red string in one hand and a book recording love connections in the other.
  • Golden Pineapple Castle – A famous brand specializing in producing pineapple cakes in Taiwan. These cakes have the natural sour taste of pineapple, the mild sweetness of malt syrup, and the rich aroma of butter. All these ingredients blend together with a soft, fluffy outer layer, creating a delicate pineapple cake with a strong Taiwanese culinary style. Here, guests can participate in a pineapple cake-making class and learn more about how to make these cakes.

Evening: Guests enjoy dinner, then return to the hotel in Taipei to check in and rest, or have free time to explore Taipei city at night.

Day 4: Taipei City (Self-paid for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)

Morning: After breakfast, guests depart for a tour to explore Taipei. The group visits:

  • Shifen Old Street – Shifen is a place where people often go to release sky lanterns, with a traditional Chinese design featuring red lanterns hanging high, and many food stalls and tea shops. In addition to pre-made lanterns, guests can buy paper, design their own lanterns, write their wishes on them, and release them into the sky. After making a wish, guests can sip some highland tea, enjoy local cakes, and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature and the slow pace of life here. (1 lantern for 4 guests)
  • Visit the Taiwan Cosmetics Center.

Afternoon: The group has lunch.

  • Taipei 101 Tower – A source of pride for Asia, built in 1999 and completed in 2004. Taipei 101 was honored with the Emporis Skyscraper Award in 2004. It was also named by Newsweek (USA) as one of the seven new wonders, and the Discovery channel rated Taipei 101 as one of the seven architectural wonders of the world. It was the tallest building in the world until the Burj Khalifa Tower in Dubai, standing at 828 meters, surpassed it in January 2010 (entrance fee to the tower is not included).
  • The group continues to visit and shop at the Pi Yao Spiritual Beast Exhibition Center.

Evening: In the evening, the group takes a stroll and enjoys shopping in the vibrant Ximending area, known as Taipei’s “Harajuku” with bright lights.

Guests have dinner (self-paid), then return to the hotel to rest overnight in Taipei.

Day 5: Taoyuan Airport – Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast, Lunch on the plane)

Morning: After breakfast, guests check out. The group visits:

  • Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall – The Zhongzheng Memorial Hall was built to honor Chiang Kai-shek, the first president of the Republic of China. The building is designed with curved roofs similar to the Forbidden City in Beijing, and features white walls and green bricks, standing 70 meters high. No matter from which angle visitors look, they can feel the grandeur of this memorial.

The group then departs for the airport and boards the flight back to Ho Chi Minh City. The program concludes, and the guide bids farewell, hoping to see guests again in the future.
